I Hear Foundation, in association with Indian Academy of Pediatrics and Hinduja Hospital conducted a CME on “Current Concepts in Hearing Impairment & Cochlear Implants” on 28th February 2016. This was conducted following the International Cochlear Implant Day (25th February) and preceeding the International Ear Care Day (3rd March). The focus of the session was on the role of pediatricians in early diagnosis of hearing impairment in children and need for early intervention with cochlear implants. The experts who participated were Dr. Milind Kirtane, Consultant ENT Surgeon; Ms. Nishita Mohandas, Audiologist; Dr. Sangeeta Varty, Consultant ENT Surgeon.
